How to pin rocker arm studs:
Check that all rocker arm studs are equal in height. Any studs that have pulled out should be pressed back in to factory spec.
Mark stud bosses 9/16" down from the top of the boss using a center punch. You'll want to drill right through the center of each boss.
Mark your drill bit depth using the roll pin length as a guide.
Using supplied 5/32" drill bit, carefully drill all the way through the center of each boss, perpendicular to the stud.
Install roll pins by tapping with a hammer until pin is flush with the O.D. of the boss (valve side).

Add positive retention to your rocker arms with this complete stud pinning kit. Rocker stud pins are cheap insurance for race engines that require stock cylinder heads, or for mild street engines built on a budget.
Most factory cylinder heads utlilize press-fit rocker arm studs, which can pull out under certain conditions. Stiffer valve springs, high-lift camshafts, high engine RPM, and engine overheating all contribute to stud failure. These roll pins lock each stud in place, preventing them from rotating or loosening.
Works with all engines using pressed-in rocker arm studs.
Note:
Not for engines that use hollow studs, such as early Pontiac V8s, that have through-stud oiling for the rocker arms.

Summary:
It is a complete set of roll pins and a proper bit, no instructions so if this is your first time you may want to YouTube it. The pins are large and single roll, I wouldn't personally recommend them on narrow guide bosses like a vortec etc.

Return Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If within 60 days after you receive your shipment and you are not satisfied, you may return the item for a refund.
